- Lt. Ralph Ambrose O'Neill was born in Durango, Durango Mexico on December
17th, 1896 of an Irish American father and a Mexican mother.
Assigned to the 147th Aero Squadron, 1st Pursuit Group, AEF flew the Nieuport
28.C.1 and later the Spad XIII in operations from May to November 1918, claimed
the destruction of 11 enemy aircraft only 6 were confirmed.
