  1. Francisco Tarazona Torán is sometimes credited with 5 vistories (Polák, Tomáš: Esa meziválečného období, part two, in Plastic Kits Revue, No. 44, 1995). In his book "Yo fuí piloto de caza rojo" Francisco Tarazona Toran presents he achieved 8 individual, 7 shared and 4 damaged (Tarazona, Francisco: Yo fuí piloto de caza rojo, Librería Editorial San Martín, Madrid 1974, via Santiago A. Flores).
  • Francisco Tarazona Torán was born in Mexico, his parents were from Spain, when the Civil War started he volunteer and became squadron leader of the 3rd Escuadrilla of the 11th Escuadron of Fuerzas Aéreas de la República Española. After the end of the Spanish Civil War he went to live back in Mexico, In 1943 he join the Mexican aviation airlines and started his career as a commercial pilot in Mexico, after 27 years he retired and opened a flying school and closed in 1982. He passed away in Mexico on July 11, 1989. Tarazona wrote a book titled "Yo fuí piloto de caza rojo" - "I was a red fighter pilot".
